    Vitamin D

    Vitamin D receptors are widespread in brain tissue, and it has shown neuroprotective effects. Study showed that low Vitamin D concentrations may increase the risk of cognitive decline (Norman, 2008).

     

    Vitamin K

    Vitamin K is an important nutrient for nervous system. It supports important roles in brain and cognition. Besides, it participates in the synthesis of sphingolipids in brain (Ferland, 2012).

     

    Magnesium

    Study showed that Magnesium helps in improving learning and memory functions. Inadequate levels of magnesium may lead to impaired cognitive function and faster deterioration of memory in aging humans (Slutsky et al., 2010; Chens et al., 2014).
